Iranian President Meets Leader, Discusses Economic Challenges and Defense Strategy

Shiite News: Iranian President Dr. Masoud Pezeshkian met and held talks with Leader of the Islamic Revolution Ayatollah Seyyed Mojtaba Hosseini Khamenei at the beginning of the third year of his presidency.

The meeting focused on major issues and challenges facing the country, particularly meeting the economic needs of the public, the current war situation and its possible future developments, progress in the defense sector, the provision and management of rial liquidity, foreign currency, and energy resources, as well as various aspects of economic cooperation with external partners.

The meeting took place as Iran continues to strengthen its defense self-sufficiency and policies of resistance in the region. President Pezeshkian briefed the Leader on public concerns and economic challenges, while progress in the defense and energy sectors was also reviewed.
