Iran Ready to Initiate Negotiations Between Saudi Arabia and Yemen: There Is No Military Solution to Crises, Iranian Foreign Minister

Shiite News: Foreign Minister of the Islamic Republic of Iran, Syed Abbas Araghchi, in a telephone conversation with Saudi Foreign Minister Faisal bin Farhan, has said that there is no military solution to the region’s crises and that Tehran is ready to provide assistance to initiate negotiations between Saudi Arabia and Yemen.

During the telephone conversation, both foreign ministers exchanged views on the latest situation in the region. The Iranian Foreign Minister, expressing concern over the growing tensions in the region, said that insisting on military methods and ignoring political solutions will further complicate the current situation.

Syed Abbas Araghchi emphasized that the Islamic Republic of Iran is ready to provide all possible cooperation to help initiate negotiations between Saudi Arabia and Yemen and to achieve a political solution.

It is noteworthy that in response to the Saudi regime’s aggression against Yemen and the aerial blockade, the Yemeni armed forces continue to target targets inside Saudi Arabia, which has caused a significant increase in tensions in the region.
