Police’s Defensive Role Was Prominent in Imposed Wars: Supreme Leader’s Important Message on Police Week

Shiite News: The Supreme Leader of the Islamic Revolution, Ayatollah Syed Mojtaba Husseini Khamenei, in an important message issued on the occasion of ‘Police Force Week’, has paid great tribute to the key role of the police in establishing peace and security across the country. He has clarified that during the second and third imposed wars, the tremendous effects of the police force in the defense and security of the country became further manifest and evident.

In his message, the Supreme Leader said that the provision of peace and security across the length and breadth of the country, from large cities to the smallest units of villages, and from difficult mountainous terrains to the seas, is the fruit of the courage of the devoted and hardworking personnel of the police. He pointed out that the criminal American and Zionist enemy made wicked attempts to target police personnel from the highest level to the lowest level, but these unprecedented unsuccessful attacks in history failed to push back the brave young men of the police from their duties even a bit.
