Shiite News: Former Grand Mufti of Gaza Dr. Mahmoud Yousuf Muhammad Al-Shoubaki visited Jamia Urwatul Wusqa in Lahore and held an important meeting with distinguished religious scholar Allama Syed Jawad Naqvi. During this meeting, detailed discussions were held on the current situation of Palestine and Gaza, the inhuman atrocities of the usurping Zionist regime, the unparalleled sacrifices of the Palestinian people, and the exemplary resilience of the resistance movement.

During the meeting, great tribute was paid to the unparalleled patience and resilience of the oppressed people of Gaza. The leaders termed the massacre of innocent children, women, and unarmed civilians, the barbaric bombing, and the genocide by the occupying Israeli regime as the most serious crimes against humanity. They emphasized that full protest against the atrocities and the continuation of the resistance struggle until the complete elimination of the usurping Zionist domination is inevitable.

Dr. Mahmoud Yousuf Al-Shoubaki praised in glowing terms the continuous academic, intellectual, media, and public efforts of Jamia Urwatul Wusqa in support of Palestine and the resistance movement. He particularly described as highly commendable the tireless efforts of Allama Syed Jawad Naqvi in highlighting the Palestine issue on every front, raising the voice of the oppressed of Gaza, exposing Zionist atrocities, and supporting the Palestinian people through his addresses.

He reaffirmed that resistance holds the most fundamental position for the complete freedom of the Palestinian nation and the recovery of their usurped rights and land.
