Blind Terrorism Cannot Shake the Resolve of the Police Force: Iran President’s Reaction to Zahedan Attack

Shiite News: Iranian President Masoud Pezeshkian, strongly condemning the martyrdom of a senior police officer in a terrorist attack in Sistan and Baluchestan province, has said that such terrorist acts cannot become an obstacle in the way of the services of police forces. In his statement issued on Saturday, President Pezeshkian expressed condolences over the martyrdom of Nosrat Eftekhari, Deputy for Cultural and Social Affairs of the Provincial Police Command, who was targeted in the Chashma Ziarat area of Zahedan.

The Iranian President said that blind terrorist acts carried out to create unrest, spread violence, and disrupt public peace can achieve nothing except shedding the blood of innocent people and exposing the criminal nature of those responsible. Terming the killing of Nosrat Eftekhari as a bitter example of such inhumane crimes, he expressed condolences to the martyr’s family, police commanders and personnel, colleagues, and the people of Sistan and Baluchestan.

President Pezeshkian emphasized that this attack cannot stop the security forces from protecting the lives and well-being of citizens, and efforts to protect public safety and confront terrorism will continue with full force. He urged the relevant authorities to conduct immediate and serious investigations into all aspects of this crime and to identify the perpetrators and those who ordered it as soon as possible.
