Two Lebanese charged with belonging to ISIS
Lebanon Wednesday charged two Lebanese men with belonging to ISIS and seeking to carry out terrorist attacks, a judicial source told.
Military Prosecutor Saqr Saqr also charged Nabil Siddiq and Ali Ayyoub with preparing to train recruits on handling explosives and bomb-making. The pair, from north Lebanon, were arrested in the eastern Bekaa Valley on Monday, the source added.
Saqr also charged the couple with involvement in gunbattles against the Lebanese Army in the northeastern border town of Arsal last August. The suspects were referred to Military judge Riad Abu Ghayda.
