Hezbollah Condemns Israeli Map, Urges Lebanese Government to Reject Concessions

Shiite News: Hezbollah in Lebanon has strongly condemned a map issued by what it described as the “Israeli Foreign Ministry,” which depicts occupied southern Lebanon as part of Israel. Hezbollah said the map provides clear evidence of what it considers Israeli ambitions, and blamed the Lebanese government’s policy of offering concessions and what it called “free gifts” for contributing to the current situation.

Hezbollah called on the Lebanese government to immediately reconsider its policy, end what it described as humiliating negotiations with Israel, and convene an emergency meeting of the Supreme Defense Council.

The group also urged Lebanon to file an immediate complaint with the United Nations Security Council, even if the government had previously promised Israel that it would not pursue action against it through international forums.

Hezbollah appealed to all Lebanese to demonstrate national unity and stand together against what it described as Israeli ambitions, saying that the perceived target is not only southern Lebanon but the entire country.
