Walid Jumblatt Rejects Lebanon-Israel Agreement, Calls It One-Sided and Warns of “Destruction”

Shiite News: Lebanese political leader Walid Jumblatt has strongly criticized the framework agreement between Beirut and Tel Aviv, describing it as a one-sided agreement imposed by what he called the “Israeli regime.” He said the agreement contains no provision for the withdrawal of Israeli forces and warned that its outcome would be nothing but destruction.

Jumblatt compared the situation with the Oslo Accords between Israel and the Palestinians, warning that the agreement could result in the loss of southern Lebanon’s heritage, history, and identity of its people.

He described the agreement as a serious threat to Lebanon’s sovereignty and territorial integrity and said it should not be accepted under any circumstances.
