Bahrain Shia Scholars Name Next Year â€œWith the Quranâ€

In response to the enemiesâ€™ desecration of the Noble Quran, Shia scholars in Bahrain have named the coming year on the Islamic calendar as â€œWith the Quranâ€.

According to the Shiite News, website of Bahrainâ€™s Islamic Awareness Society reported that, the decision has been made by the countryâ€™s Shia Scholars Council.

The council has issued a statement which said the enemies seek to extinguish the light of Islamâ€™s holy book, but all their plots will be in vain.

However, it urged Muslims to do more to defend the holy Quran against the enemies.

The council said it has named the next lunar year of 1432 as â€˜With the Quranâ€™ so that â€œwe will be with the Quran everywhere and foster the light of this holy book.â€
