Saudi Karayal Drone Shot Down in Hajjah Skies, Fourth Drone in Recent Aggression: Yemeni Armed Forces Spokesman

Shiite News: Spokesman of the Yemeni armed forces Brigadier General Yahya Saree has announced that the Yemeni air defense shot down an armed spy drone of Saudi aggression, a Karayal, engaged in aggressive operations in the skies of Hajjah province on Sunday morning.

The spokesman of the Yemeni armed forces said in his statement that, by the grace and help of Allah Almighty, the Saudi drone was targeted with an appropriate weapon and brought down. He stated that this is the fourth drone of this type to be shot down since the beginning of the recent escalation, while this is the seventh Karayal drone of this type to be shot down since such drones began entering Yemeni airspace.

This operation comes at a time when, just hours earlier, the Yemeni armed forces had announced the downing of an Al Saud Apache helicopter carrying out aggressive operations against Yemeni positions near the Saudi border area of Najran. These successive successes of the Yemeni armed forces show that the Saudi regime’s claim of air superiority is becoming ineffective in the face of Yemeni air defense.

The Karayal is a Turkish-made spy and armed drone that the Saudi regime is using for espionage and attacks in Yemen’s airspace. Along with the intensification of Saudi aggression on various Yemeni provinces, the Yemeni armed forces have also accelerated their defensive operations against the enemy’s warplanes and drones.
