Gilgit-Baltistan bans observance of Imam Hussain Day in educational institutions

In what appeared an anti-Constitution and anti-Islam decision, biased Gilgit-Baltistan government has banned observance of Youm-e-Hussain (AS) in the educational institutions evoking an instant reaction from Imamia Students Organization (ISO) and Jafaria Students Organization (JSO).

The officials of the ISO and the JSO have lashed out at the Gilgit-Baltistan chief minister for the illegal and un-Islamic restriction on holding Imam Hussain (AS) Day in the schools, colleges and universities. They said that the chief minister was under the influence of takfiris and nasbis who always favoured despotic and tyrant rule Umayyad dynasty in Islamic history despite the fact that renowned Deobandi scholars Syed Abul Aala Moudoodi, founder of Jamaat-e-Islami and Syed Abul Kalam Azad turned down Umayyad tyrant rule as despotism and against the Islam.
They urged the federal government to rein in the chief minister that was bringing a bad name to the PMLN government and ruling party by ordering an unjustifiable ban only to appease the anti-Islam and anti-Pakistan takfiris and nasbis.
