Man Accused of Disrespecting Imam Mahdi (AJ) Arrested in Karachi, FIR Registered at Surjani Town Police Station

Shiite News: A man accused of making derogatory remarks about Imam Mahdi (may Allah hasten his reappearance) was apprehended by local residents in Sector 5-D of Surjani Town, Karachi, and handed over to law enforcement authorities.

According to details, the incident in Surjani Town prompted a strong show of unity among local residents and mourners. The accused was apprehended at the scene and immediately handed over to Surjani Town Police. An FIR was subsequently registered against him, and legal proceedings were initiated.

Local residents expressed gratitude that the accused had been handed over to the authorities and said that unity among members of the community was essential for preventing such incidents and ensuring that those accused of causing unrest were dealt with according to law.

They further said that they would continue to seek legal protection for religious sanctities and that anyone accused of insulting religious figures or beliefs should be brought before the law. The gathering reportedly continued with religious slogans including “Labbaik Ya Hussain” and “Labbaik Ya Mahdi.”
