Iranian President’s visit is of extreme importance: Analysts

Shiite News: Iranian President Hassan Rouhani has reached Islamabad on a two days official visit to Pakistan along with a delegation of senior politicians and traders. Analysts have been considering the visit as extremely important as it is expected that several important agreements on trade and energy would be signed during Rouhani’s visit.

Hassan Rouhani, during his visit, will meet Pakistani President Mamnoon Hussain, PM Nawaz Sharif, Army Chief General Raheel Sharif and several other senior political personalities. This is Rouhani’s first visit to Pakistan as Iranian President.

The visit is also crucial for increasing and strengthening of bilateral ties, after uplifting of international sanctions from Iran.

Overall situation of Afghanistan, South Asia and Middle East will also be discussed during Iranian President’s meetings with Pakistani leadership however, major focus will be on promoting Pak-Iran trade and economic relations.
