Ayatollah Shubayri Zanjani’s Passing a Great Tragedy for Seminaries and the Shia World, Says Allama Sajid Naqvi

Shiite News: Allama Syed Sajid Ali Naqvi has expressed deep grief and sorrow over the passing of the eminent religious scholar and Grand Ayatollah Sayyid Musa Shubayri Zanjani, describing his death as a great tragedy for the Islamic seminaries and the Shia world.

In his condolence message, Naqvi said the late religious authority was regarded as one of the academic pillars of the Qom Seminary and among the prominent jurisprudential scholars of the contemporary era. His passing has been widely mourned by Shia religious institutions and communities.

He said the late scholar devoted his blessed life to acquiring knowledge, teaching, research, educating students and preserving the scholarly heritage of the School of the Ahl al-Bayt (AS). His profound knowledge of Islamic jurisprudence and principles, expertise in the sciences of hadith and rijal, and training of generations of scholars were among the distinguished aspects of his academic life.

Naqvi added that Ayatollah Shubayri Zanjani’s scholarly writings and valuable intellectual legacy would continue to serve as a guiding light for future research into the teachings and knowledge of the Ahl al-Bayt (AS).

Expressing condolences over the loss, Allama Sajid Naqvi extended his sympathies to Imam al-Mahdi (AJ), the religious leadership, senior religious authorities, Islamic seminaries, the late scholar’s students and, in particular, his bereaved family.

He prayed to Almighty Allah to elevate the deceased scholar’s rank and grant patience, solace and abundant reward to his bereaved family.
