Gilgit: Daesh’s chalking in Wahhabi dominant area, declaration to ascribe mosque to Abu Bakr al Baghdadi

Shiite News: Wall chalking in favor of Daesh was seen once again at various places in Gilgit and the wall-chalking done in the area under a police station’s jurisdiction made security administration suspicious.

According to details, despite the continuous denial of Gilgit Baltistan’s provincial government Daesh’s presence was proved by the wall-chalking in favor of Daesh done in the darkness of night at various places of Gilgit city.

Sources told that wall-chalking in support of Daesh was done last night at multiple places in Ampahri and the area that comes under city police station’s jurisdiction. Police, upon receiving the news, increased patrolling in the entire city but no progress has yet taken place despite all efforts for arresting terrorists involved in the crime. It has been reported that the militants also tried to ascribe a mosque to Abu Bakr al Baghdadi.

Slogans like ‘welcome Daesh to Gilgit, Daesh zindabad (long live Daesh), Abu Bakr Baghdadi qadam barhao hum tumhary sath hain (move forward Abu Bakr, we are with you)’ were found written on walls in different areas of Gilgit. Sources also told that slogans against Pakistan army were also written at various places.

Local police has been trying to investigate the matter but no progress has been made yet.
