Saudi Foreign Minister’s visit to Pakistan, people came out on roads to protest

Shiite News: Protests against the execution of Saudi Arabia’s senior religious scholar Sheikh Nimr Baqar al Nimr by Saudi government have been going on in Pakistan. Muslims of Pakistan have also registered their protest during Saudi Foreign Minister’s visit to Pakistan. According to information, demonstrations were held in different cities of the country especially in Islamabad on Saudi Foreign Minister Adil Al-Jabeer’s visit against Sheikh Nimr’s martyrdom. Protestors chanted slogans of ‘Down with House of Saud’.

According to Shiite News, a protest was organized in Islamabad by ‘Himayat e Mazloomeen e Jahan forum’ (supporting oppressed of the world forum) where protestors criticized and opposed Saudi Foreign Minister’s visit to the country because of being involved in Sheikh Nimr’s execution. Protestors also demanded that Pakistan should refrain from becoming a part of any Saudi alliance.

Demonstrators chanted slogans of ‘Down with House of Saud’, ‘down with the US’, and ‘Down with Israel’ and declared Saudi Arabia as the tool of the US in the region. They also strongly opposed Saudi Foreign Minister Adil al-Jabeer’s visit to Pakistan and demanded the government not to allow supporters of terrorists and murderers of Muslims to enter in Pakistan.
