PEMRA issued notification to Ahmed Qureshi for spreading sectarian hatred

Shiite News: PEMRA has issued a notice to Express News channel for airing a program, Q @ with Ahmed Qureshi on 3rd January, that caused anger and hurt the feelings of followers of Maktab e Ahl e Bait (as) and other Muslims.

The notice has been issued today i.e. 5th January, Tuesday, to Express News and it has been said in the notification that airing such program was against Pakistani laws and 2015’s code of conduct implemented by the Supreme Court and was also against the articles 19 and 19-A of country’s constitution.

Express News’ pro- Saudi Arabia anchor person Ahmed Qureshi, in his inciting program on 3rd January, expressed his pleasure and satisfaction over Sheikh Nimr’s execution and tried to declare him a terrorist which really hurt the sentiments of followers of Maktab e Ahl e bait (as) and they had been protesting over it. PEMRA has now taken an action against the anchor of the program and has issued the notification to the channel and has ordered the media house to make sure not to offend any citizen of Pakistan by declaring him Kaffir, Pakistan’s enemy or an enemy of any religion.

Now all channels need to find people like Ahmed Qureshi in their media houses. Aurya Maqbool Jan and Tahir Ashrafi are on the top of the list of such people and unfortunately they are also associated with Express.
