Islamabad: Local court declared Molvi Abdul Aziz as proclaimed offender

Shiite News: According to BBC Urdu, Lal Masjid cleric Molana Abdul Aziz has been declared by Islamabad’s local court as ‘proclaimed offender’ (ishtehari). It was only few days ago that federal interior Minister Chaudhry Nisar had said that there was no case registered against Molana Abdul Aziz whereas a report recently sent by intelligence agencies to the interior ministry the word ‘Lal mosque mafia’ was used and the government was warned about its links with extremists that could become a threat to the security of twin cities.
