New Developments in Parliamentary Relations Between Pakistan and Iran
Shiite News: Speaker National Assembly Ayaz Sadiq has described the recent visit of the Iranian parliamentary delegation to Pakistan as a symbol of long-standing friendship, mutual respect and cultural harmony between the two countries.
He thanked Dr. Muhammad Baqir Qalibaf and his delegation, stating that their arrival was an honor for Pakistan and another proof of strengthened bilateral relations.
In his message, Ayaz Sadiq said that Pakistan-Iran relations are not limited to geography or politics but are based on faith, history and shared civilization.
The peoples of both countries have been bound for centuries in intellectual and spiritual relationships, nurtured by poets, thinkers and reformers on the foundations of peace, justice, self-respect and knowledge.
The Speaker described the Iranian delegation’s visit as an important milestone in parliamentary and strategic relations and said that the meetings discussed shared vision for peace, stability and prosperity in the region, with agreement to enhance cooperation in areas such as trade, energy, border cooperation and cultural exchange.
