We Will Neither Remain Silent Nor Relinquish Our Rights, We Will Stand Firm Against Oppression: Senator Allama Raja Nasir Abbas Jafari

Shiite News: Leader of the Opposition in the Senate and Chairman of Majlis-e-Wahdat-e-Muslimeen Pakistan, Senator Allama Raja Nasir Abbas Jafari, while speaking to the media in Peshawar, has said that Allah Almighty gives the oppressed the right to raise their voice against oppression, but dictator-like rulers respond to complaints with bullets, threats, cases, and FIRs. We clarify that we will neither remain silent nor relinquish our rights.

He said that today we have come to knock on the doors of the judiciary so that the argument is complete and tomorrow no one can say that we did not come to seek justice. Our struggle is for the supremacy of the constitution, the rule of law, and the rights of the oppressed people. He further said that we stand with Imran Khan because our position is that his mandate was stolen and he was subjected to injustice.

Allama Raja Nasir Abbas raised the question: is stealing the public mandate, invading homes, putting mothers, sisters, and children in jails, and darkening the future of the youth patriotism? He said that the government’s own ministers have admitted that Pakistan has collapsed, and when they could not run the country, they have now also occupied the province.

Referring to verse 148 of Surah An-Nisa and the saying attributed to Moulana Ali (AS), “Be against the oppressor and a helper of the oppressed,” he said that we will keep speaking of the constitution, will stand for the supremacy of law, and will remain the voice of the oppressed, because our loyalty is not to any power but to Pakistan, its people, and the constitution. It is noteworthy that the Peshawar High Court has fixed the petitions against Governor’s Rule and emergency in Khyber Pakhtunkhwa for hearing on October 20.
