Raids by security departments, terrorist activities planned for Muharram failed

Security departments of Karachi have conducted a big raid regarding the ongoing Operation Zarb e Azb and have failed plans for terrorist activities during Muharram. According to reports, terrorists had planned to carry out devastating attacks in Karachi, during Muharram and they had also made plans for such attacks. Terrorists had also been provided with their targets list and a huge amount of explosives, bombs and arms had also been brought for the purpose. Terrorists had been very careful about their planning but police, rangers and other security departments, upon intelligence information, carried out successful operations in different cities of Sindh and Baluchistan. Geo News has received confirmed news from credible sources that those operations caused a major blow to banned Al-Qaeda of the sub-continent and banned Laskar e Jhangvi and their back has been broken. Security agencies have also taken arms and explosives into their custody.  Raids in Al-Falah society Malir and Orangi Town were small but important steps in this regard. Police and secret agency raided on a house in Al-Falah society, Malir on the midnight of 19th and 20th September, upon information of a terrorist’s (named Pehalwan) presence but when the security officials tried to enter the house, terrorists started firing upon them due to which sub-inspector Shoiab and constable Ashraf were injured.
