We Will Never Recognize Israel, Declares Majlis Wahdat-e-Muslimeen at Multan Press Conference

Shiite News: Majlis Wahdat-e-Muslimeen (MWM) Pakistan’s Azadari Wing Central President Allama Iqtidar Hussain Naqvi, South Punjab Provincial Organizer Allama Qazi Nadir Hussain Alvi, Allama Ghulam Mustafa Ansari, Saleem Abbas Siddiqui, and Advocate Yafas Naveed Hashmi addressed a press conference at the Multan Press Club, rejecting the government’s support for the American Gaza Plan.
They declared that Israel is an illegal, usurping state that can never be recognized under any circumstances.
The MWM leaders strongly condemned the government’s inclination towards the US-backed proposal, saying it violates the historic stance of Quaid-e-Azam Muhammad Ali Jinnah, who termed Israel an illegitimate state.
They said the United States is not only a partner in Israel’s crimes but also repeatedly vetoes ceasefire and humanitarian resolutions at the United Nations, rubbing salt into the wounds of the oppressed Palestinian people. “Donald Trump’s latest plan is nothing but a renewed version of the notorious ‘Deal of the Century,’ which is completely unacceptable,” they stated.
The leaders lamented that the Pakistani rulers have prematurely supported Trump’s plan even before its complete presentation, effectively undermining Pakistan’s founding principles and indirectly acknowledging Israel.
They warned that an anti-Islamic agenda is being launched to destabilize Pakistan. “For the past two years, Palestine has been turned into a battlefield — crying out for help — yet our rulers are siding with Trump instead of standing with the oppressed,” they said.
The MWM leadership announced that their party would strongly resist any move to recognize Israel or any activity that leads to normalization with the Zionist regime. “This is a dangerous game being played, and we will not allow it to succeed,” they vowed.
Allama Iqtidar Hussain Naqvi further stated that Trump has always stood with Israel; therefore, supporting Trump’s agenda is equivalent to betraying the cause of the oppressed. “It is ironic that the so-called promoter of peace, the United States, recently vetoed a ceasefire resolution on Palestine at the UN,” he said, adding, “We will never allow the removal of the anti-Israel clause from the Pakistani passport.”
The MWM leaders said the US 20-point Gaza plan does not even mention Israeli aggression. “We will never retreat even an inch from Quaid-e-Azam’s position on Palestine. The two-state solution is not the voice of the Palestinian people,” they asserted.
“This is the Islamic Republic of Pakistan — the Pakistan of Quaid-e-Azam and Allama Iqbal — not the Pakistan of Trump. We are and will remain opposed to Israel. We stand with the Palestinians, not with the oppressors, but with the oppressed,” they declared.
The MWM leaders also strongly condemned the brutal police assault on journalists at the National Press Club Islamabad, calling it an attack on press freedom. “When the government treats its own citizens and journalists in this manner, how can it raise a credible voice against atrocities in occupied Kashmir?” they asked.
They said the current regime is illegal and unconstitutional, and its frustration over its failures has led it to oppress the people. “This government has lost public trust and is resorting to authoritarian measures to silence dissent,” they concluded.
