Search Operation in Madaaris should be continued to find terrorists: Madaaris Ahl e Sunnat
Famous religious scholar and the head of Jama’a Naeemiya Allam Dr. Muhammad Raghib Hussain Naimi, while talking to people in “Madaaris Ahl e Sunnat wal Jama’t seminar” held at Sarfraz Naimi conference hall of Dr. Sarfarz Naimi Institute of Peace Education and Research, said that we completely support government’s and army’s National Action Plan and governments actions in order to completely eradicate terrorism. Operation Zarb e Azab should be continued till the eradication of last terrorist and the search operation in Madaaris should also be continued without any hindrance. The seminar was attended by more than 250 Nazimeen, Shaik ul hadees, teachers, and Ulema of Madaaris e Ahl e Sunnat. It was said in the joint statement that Masjid’s sanctity should not be razed during the search operation. Madaaris e Ahl e Sunnat wal Jama’at are with the government and the army in completely eliminating terrorism from the country and welcome the establishment of military courts against terrorism and honor their decisions.
He said that we pay tribute to Pak Army’s sacrifices for abolishing terrorism and Ahl e Sunnat people are with them in the war against terrorism. He further said that the directors of Madaaris of Ahl e Sunnat wal Jama’at assure that they do not have any link with terrorist organizations like Daaish, Al-Qaeda,, Boko Haram, Al-Shabab and Tehreek e Taliban Pakistan and they condemn their mischievous policies and actions and make it clear that these terrorist and extremist organizations have nothing to do with Islam and Muslims. These so called Jihadi organizations are ruining the name of Islam. All this happened due to no check and balance on Madaaris and NGOs, in the past and now all madaaris are being viewed with suspicion. The government should check madaaris of all sects, including Ahl e Sunnat but those that get cleared in the search operation should also be given a clearance certificate so that the doubts in the minds of common people should be cleared. Madaaris that are involved in illegal activities, terrorism etc should be exposed and severe legal action should be taken against them.
Dr. Naimi also demanded that media should also be present at the time of operation. Residential areas adjacent to Madaaris should be searched by Lady Constables. None of the Ahl e Sunnat Madaaris is on government’s list which is a strong proof of their non-involvement in any kind of terrorism. He further said that if any Ahl e Sunnat Madarsa is found to be involved in terrorism then legal action should be taken against it. Religious institutions (deeni madaaris) have always spread the message of love and unity and if it is spread on the basis of Sufia’s way of love and preaching then Islam will rise again in the world.
Dr. Naimi further said Pakistan is based upon two nation theory and action should be taken against those institutions that do not comply with the theory and work against it. He asked the government and agencies to beware of those terrorists who are trying to achieve their political objectives in the name of linguistic and provincial politics and thus are sowing the seeds of hatred among masses and trying to weaken Pakistan. He also condemned terrorism, destruction, extortion and target killing in the country. The attack on Col. (r) Shuja Khnzada was also condemned in the joint statement and it was demanded that the culprits should be exposed and the supporters of terrorists within the government should also be exposed. While talking to the session, Moulana Muhammad Raghib Hussain Naimi said that Madaaris are not the Holy Cow that should not be checked, the directors of Madaaris should follow government’s directions. Government should issue a clearance certificate after checking them and those found guilty should be tried and punished.
