Apex Committee asked the Chief Minister of Sindh to Crackdown against Sipah e Sahaba

Interior Ministry has forwarded the final list to the Chief Minister of Sindh for crackdown against more than 28 banned organizations including Sipah e Sahaba and hundreds of their active members. The list also includes the organizations that have been working by changing their names and the step has been taken after the decision of Apex Committee. It has also been proposed, in the request, to take strict actions against the extremists of banned organizations. The actual action will only be possible after the approval of final list.

These banned organizations were the ones involved in several terrorist activities including the incidents of Safoora Goth and Shikaar Pur and the terrorists had also confessed and accepted the responsibility of such incidents.

It has been made clear in the list that these organizations come under the section E (2-11) of anti-terrorist act and it is totally legal to take measures against them
