Shiite News: Majlis-e-Wahdat-e-Muslimeen leader and National Assembly member from Kurram Hameed Hussain said on the law and order situation in Kurram, “The situation is completely contrary to what is being said, the situation in Kurram is not normal at all.”

Hamid Hussain, while talking to Aaj News’ program “Spotlight”, said that roads in Kurram have been closed for a long time, life-saving medicines have also run out.

Petroleum products have completely run out, children cannot go to school. Fire broke out in three places in Kurram district, including the villages of Kunj Alizai and Maqbal in Upper Kurram, Balash Khel and Khar Kali in Lower Kurram, and Lower Alizai and Bagan, and about 125 people were killed.

Due to the use of heavy and automatic weapons, there was panic and fear in different places, many villages were forced to migrate.

Hameed Hussain said that people are calling it a sectarian conflict, this is not a sectarian conflict, they are keeping people in a state of uncertainty.

Speaking in the program, Pakistan Tehreek-e-Insaf (PTI) leader Shaukat Yousafzai said that the issue of Kurram is very sensitive, the provincial and federal governments need to pay attention to it and both can solve this problem together, for this, the local dignitaries will also have to be involved.

Shaukat Yousafzai said that the solution to this is not for the government to use force or coercion there, for a permanent solution, it is necessary to implement the tribal mechanism that is there.

Hameed Hussain said 125-member jirga that went to Kohat today has nothing to do with the provincial government.

I am still waiting for the jirga that the Chief Minister had formed in Kohat, because the Chief Secretary had said that I will inform you when he goes. We have also gone to Parachinar with the jirga. We will return after getting the jirga started there.

He said that we have no knowledge of this jirga, who is it and who is taking it with them.

Responding to Hameed Hussain’s words, Shaukat Yousafzai said that the tribes are also engaged on their own, the provincial government is also engaged, the federal government is also trying to form such a jirga. If the Chief Secretary goes, then maybe he will take them with him.

In response to a question, he said that when two warring groups are fighting each other, it is not so easy to enter there.

Our tribes are also very strong. The tribes’ own dignitaries are more influential than the government. Efforts are being made to use them because their words are more respected.

Hamid Hussain said in response to a question that I have boycotted jirgas. In the last jirga, an agreement was reached on which all the tribes, Shia and Sunni, are in agreement. They are all crying that God please implement this agreement. If the government is sincere and serious, then why is it not being implemented?
