Major Police and CTD Search-and-Strike Operation in Lakki Marwat; Hideouts of Banned SSP Terrorists Demolished

Shiite News: Police and the Counter Terrorism Department (CTD) carried out a major search-and-strike operation against suspected terrorists within the jurisdiction of City Police Station in Lakki Marwat. During the operation, hideouts belonging to wanted suspects Junaid and Manzoor, affiliated with the banned Sipah-e-Sahaba, were demolished.

According to police, the operation was conducted against suspected militants affiliated with the banned Sipah-e-Sahaba and was led by the SDPO Lakki. Personnel from CTD Lakki, City Lakki Police Station, and the RRRF Police Lines participated in the operation with the support of armored vehicles.

The operation covered areas including Sheikh Khola, Abdul Khel, Shah Hassan Khel, Sarband, Wada Khanagul, and adjoining mountainous regions. During the operation, hideouts of the wanted suspects were demolished in Abdul Khel village.

Police officials said that both wanted suspects were allegedly involved in serious criminal cases, including the abduction of Frontier Corps (FC) personnel, the targeted killing of a narcotics official and a jail police officer, as well as other serious crimes.

During house-to-house searches, two suspected individuals were detained. Police also recovered a pistol and two motorcycles allegedly used in various criminal incidents.

Inspector General of Police Khyber Pakhtunkhwa praised the professional capabilities of Lakki police and CTD personnel following the operation and commended the entire team.

He further said that targeted search-and-strike operations would be intensified to maintain the writ of the state and protect the lives and property of the public.
