Ayatollah Khamenei: Remedy for economic problems not in Lausanne, Geneva, New York

Cure for Iran’s economic problems is not in Lausanne, Geneva, and New York, Supreme Leader of the Islamic Revolution Ayatollah Seyyed Ali Khamenei said on Wednesday.

He made the remarks in a meeting with a group of workers on the occasion of Labor Week.

One can not find the solution of economic problems outside the country in Lausanne, Geneva and New York, but the real cure for the problems is inside the country, the Leader added.

He urged the decision makers to focus on boost of domestic production in order to resolve the economic problems.

Supreme Leader encouraged everybody and in particular the government to use domestic goods instead of foreign commodities.

Nobody can denies the impact of illegal sanctions on Iranian economy but everybody knows well that embargoes can not prevent success of public organized programs for promotion of the domestic production, he added.

Elsewhere in his remarks, Ayatollah Khamenei called for serious practical campaign against corruption.
