Iranian Resilience and Selection of a New Leader Offer Important Lessons to the World: Allama Maqsood Domki

Shiite News: Allama Maqsood Ali Domki, Provincial President of Majlis Wahdat-e-Muslimeen (MWM) Pakistan Sindh, said that the patience, resilience and courage demonstrated by the Islamic Republic of Iran during recent difficult circumstances in confronting what he described as U.S. and Israeli aggression offer an important lesson for nations around the world.

Speaking to various delegations who visited Jamia Khatam-ul-Nabiyeen to welcome him following his return from a pilgrimage to holy sites, he said that the reported selection of Ayatollah Sayyed Mojtaba Khamenei as Supreme Leader by Iran’s Assembly of Experts, following the death of Ayatollah Sayyed Ali Khamenei, and what he described as the Iranian people’s expression of loyalty to their leadership represented an unprecedented development.

Among those who met Allama Maqsood Ali Domki and presented him with flower garlands were members and leaders of the Al-Domki Ittehad, MWM and Jamhori Watan Party, including Haji Shahmurad Khan Domki, Mansab Ali Domki, Allama Saif Ali Domki, Allah Bakhsh Sajadi, Syed Wasim Shah and other prominent figures.

On the occasion, Allama Maqsood Domki said that what he described as anti-Islamic Revolution propaganda by the United States, Israel and their allies had been defeated by the sacrifices of figures he identified as martyrs of resistance, including Sayyed Ali Khamenei, Sayyed Hassan Nasrallah, Ismail Haniyeh and Yahya Sinwar.

He strongly condemned and rejected the unilateral U.S. sanctions imposed on Iran’s aviation sector and 36 related targets on September 8, 2026. The U.S. Treasury announced on that date that it had sanctioned 36 targets connected to Iran’s aviation sector, including airlines and foreign intermediaries.

Allama Maqsood Domki urged Islamic countries to pursue independent foreign policies rather than remaining under U.S. pressure and called for support for Iran. He further said that the Muslim Ummah should rise above its internal differences and unite in support of the oppressed in Palestine, Lebanon and Yemen in order to play an effective and dignified role at the international level.
