Shia History Is Defined by Sacrifices: Allama Sajid Ali Naqvi Pays Tribute to Martyr Khursheed Anwar Advocate on His Death Anniversary

Shiite News: Allama Syed Sajid Ali Naqvi, the Leader of the Shia Ulema Council of Pakistan, has paid rich tribute to renowned lawyer, prominent political and social figure, and distinguished son of Dera Ismail Khan, Martyr Khursheed Anwar Advocate, and his daughter on the anniversary of their death.

In a special message issued on September 28, 1999, Allama Sajid Ali Naqvi described the tragic killing of Martyr Khursheed Anwar Advocate and his beloved daughter as a major and unforgettable tragedy for the Shia community.

The Shia leader emphasized that the unjust killing of a moderate, sincere and patriotic leader in such a brutal manner was deeply regrettable. He said that carefully examining the motives behind the incident and bringing those responsible to justice is a fundamental responsibility of the authorities and state institutions.

He further stated that the history of the Shia community is marked by great sacrifices and that the community has consistently made sacrifices for the cause of truth, justice, peace and the promotion of principles.

Paying tribute to Martyr Khursheed Anwar Advocate’s valuable national and community services, Allama Sajid Ali Naqvi said that his selfless contributions would always be remembered with respect and appreciation.

Allama Sajid Ali Naqvi also prayed for the elevation of the ranks of the martyr and his daughter and expressed his heartfelt sympathy and condolences to the bereaved family.
