Iran Delivers Clear Terms to the United States as Foreign Minister Abbas Araghchi Meets Qatari Mediators

Shiite News: Iranian Foreign Minister Abbas Araghchi held an important meeting with Qatari mediators in New York on the sidelines of the annual session of the United Nations General Assembly.

According to a source close to the Iranian negotiating team, the main purpose of the meeting was to discuss the latest developments concerning the exchange of messages between the Islamic Republic of Iran and the United States.

Maintaining its principled and firm position, Iran once again conveyed its stringent conditions and clear message to the American side through Qatari mediation last Tuesday. A report by a U.S. journalist affiliated with NBC confirmed that Foreign Minister Abbas Araghchi had held the meeting with the Qatari mediators. Following the meeting, the Qatari mediators also held discussions with the U.S. delegation to convey Iran’s clear position and decisions to the American side.
