PA Kurrum & Commandant FC supports banned Taliban, Lashkar-e-Jhangvi
Chiefs and Mishran of six tribes and other notables of Kurrum Agency have said at a jirga that political agent and the FC commandant were patronizing banned Taliban and Lashkar-e-Jhangvi.
The jirga further said that the PA and the commandant would be held responsible for any bloodshed in the area by the Taliban terrorists. The jirga said that they were pushing Kurrum/Parachinar to bloodshed by their patronage of Eid Nazar, Taliban commander in the area.
It said that tribes would not allow them to do so. They said that Kurrum Agency remained the scene of terrorism and bloodshed since 2007 due to Commander Eid Nazar. He said that hundreds of people were killed and thousands of the innocent people were injured.
It said that tribes expelled the terrorist commander on self-help basis. It recalled that the government had guaranteed in 2012 that the terrorist commander would not return in the area. It said that now Eid Nazar and his armed companions were accorded warm welcome at the check posts.
The jirga warned the PA and the Commandant FC to desist from their conspiracies because these plots could flare up violence and bloodshed in the area. They said that Eid Nazar and his abettors should be expelled forthwith otherwise jirga and tribes would take revenge of thousands of martyrs and injured on their own. In that case, government will be responsible for the consequences.
