Allama Shaheedi calls efforts to unite Muslim Ummah a slap in the face of imperialism, while the imperialistic forces were spending huge money to divide Muslim Ummah.
Renowned Shia Islamic scholar Allama Amin Shaheedi said this, while addressing Ittehad-e-Ummah Conference held in Jamia al Askaria Hangu.

He further said that same people were behind insult of Islam, Prophet Mohammad (PBUH), Ahle Bayt (AS), Quran and Sahaba.
He made clear that Islami don’t remain restricted to mosques and seminaries but (God made) Islam (a comprehensive religion) for the entire universe.

Allama Shaheedi said that imperialism sought to portray a wrong and distorted face and image of Islam in front of the world.
He lamented that majority of the regimes in Muslims are licking shoes of U.S. and recognizing Israel.
While comparing these facts, he said those clerics and scholars deserve praise who preach unity, while those seeking to divide Ummah deserve divine curse.
