Allama Qazi Niaz Hussain Naqvi laid to rest in holy city Qom where he had passed away.

Renowned scholar Ayatollah Seyyed Hosseini led his funeral prayers in the courtyard of the holy shrine of Bibi Fatima Masooma in the holy Qom city.

Later, veteran Shia Islamic scholar Allama Syed Qazi Niaz Hussain Naqvi was buried in Qom’s graveyard.

He passed away after having remained under treatment at hospital for some days.

He was younger brother of Allama Hafiz Syed Riaz Hussain Najafi.

Allama Syed Qazi Niaz had served Federation of Shia Islamic seminaries or Wifaqul Madaris al Shia Pakistan as its deputy head.

He served as Milli Yakjehti Council as its deputy head.

Moreover, Allama Qazi Niaz served Jamiatul Muntazir Lahore as a senior teacher in religious education.

Besides, he had assisted and guided various committees of the committees which the government formed on religious issues and curriculum.

Allama Syed Qazi Niaz Hussain Naqvi raised voice for legitimate rights of Shia Islamic community.
