Shaheed Qalandar Bux Jagirani laid to rest in Khairpur

Qalandar Bux Jagirani, who breathed his last in mysterious circumstances in Karachi civil hospital, was laid to rest in his home district Khairpur on Tuesday.
Maulana Irshad Shah Naqvi led the namaz-e-janaza of Qalandar Bux. Thousands of people attended funeral.

According to the Shiite News Correspondent, Shaheed Qalandar Bux Jagirani suffered injuries when banned terrorist outfits’ under trial prisoners attacked him with iron rods in Sukkur jail. He was accused of killing a banned terrorist outfit’s leader. As a matter of fact, said leader had grabbed a piece of land in Khairpur and police knew this fact that his death related to grabbing of land.

Qalandar Bux Jagirani was an innocent person implicated in the case. He had recorded his statement to police about attack on him at Sukkur jail a day before his death was announced. His son had expressed grave concern on the death and called it a medical murder.

Shia leaders have demanded probe into his death and punishment to those responsible for his untimely death in mysterious circumstances.
