Majlis-e-Wahdat-e-Muslimeen secretary general Allama Raja Nasir Abbas Jafari made clear that azadari (sacred mourn) is legal and constitutional right of each and every Shia Muslim.

Allama Raja Nasir cited Constitution of Pakistan also recognizes and guarantees fundamental rights of all citizens.
On the other hand, MWM Punjab chapter secretary general Abdul Khaliq Asadi also urged Punjab government to refrain from hampering Youm e Ali azadari processions.
Surprisingly, government has allowed taraveeh prayers congregations and even eased lockdown for people to gather in shopping markets.
The May 11, 2020 witnessed huge gatherings in these markets across Pakistan.
In this environment, demand to ban Youm e Ali congregations and processions remain nothing but a biased and unjustifiable wishful thinking.
