Necessity of maintain unity in Lebanon against Takfiri groups

Top Lebanese Mufti stressed the importance of maintaining unity in the country against Takfiri (excommunicating) groups and saying that the crimes committed under the title of religion is proof that agents behind them know nothing of the holy religion of Islam.

Sheikh Abdul Latif Daryan, grand Mufti of Lebanon, in his Eid al-Adha sermon in Beirut demanded unity in the country and some basic reforms to confront internal and external challenges, shiite news reported Lebanon’s Alminar TV to be saying.

He added,” Present crimes committed under the name of religion proves that the agents behind them do not know anything about Islam.”

Grand Mufti of Lebanon also noted, “All of us are responsible to protect the youth and we should not leave them alone against the threat of Takfiri thoughts.”
