Hezbollah Condemns Mahabad Blast as Terrorist, Barbaric Crime

In a statement released by its media relations department, Hezbollah said it vehemently condemns the terrorist crime that targeted citizens in the town of Mahabad in the Islamic Republic of Iran, which led to the martyrdom of tens of civilians, mainly women and children.

“This crime committed by the Islamic Revolution’s enemies with the support of intelligence services reflects the barbarism and brutality of the forces trying to impede the progress of the Iranian people and whose aim is to destabilize Iran in order to serve big schemes entitled to fight the original principles of the Islamic Republic,” the statement said.

The Resistance party concluded its statement by offering condolences to Iran’s Supreme Leader Ayatollah Sayyed Ali Khamenei as well as the leadership of the Islamic republic and the families of the blast’s victims.
