Margelov: BRICS Rejects Foreign Interference in Syria’s Internal Affairs
Chairman of the Russian Federation Council Foreign Affairs Committee Mikhail Margelov stressed on Tuesday that the BRICS countries do not accept foreign intervention scenario in the Syrian internal affairs.
Russia Today Website reported Margelov as saying, “The BRICS Summit set to be held in South Africa on March 26th and 27th will discuss the crisis in Syria and the general track based on the principle which stipulates that only the Syrians can resolve their problems and that the international community has to help them.”
He pointed out that Russia will actively take part in the discussions on the problems of radical Islam during the BRICS Summit.
The BRICS group includes Brazil, Russia, India, China and South Arica.
