Supreme Leader’s Message: Global Arrogance Wants to Torment the Iranian Nation Through Restrictions on Medicine and Treatment

Shiite News: Supreme Leader of the Revolution Ayatollah Syed Mojtaba Khamenei, in his message issued on the occasion of the blessed birth anniversary of Hazrat Zainab Kubra (peace be upon her) and Nurses Day, has said that the wicked network of global arrogance does not refrain from inflicting all kinds of oppression and crime on free and resisting nations, especially the Iranian nation, and wants to inflict torment on the great Iranian nation through restrictions related to medicine and treatment.

The Supreme Leader of the Revolution said that the life of Hazrat Zainab (peace be upon her), especially her role in the event of Ashura, is the highest symbol of boundless compassion for the oppressed and patience, resilience, and courage, and the history of the Islamic movement and revolution has been filled from the very beginning with scenes of the Zainabi presence of Iranian women and daughters.

He said that during the Third Sacred Defense, this presence reached an astonishing level in the nation’s unparalleled uprising, and today the Zainabi women of Islamic Iran, through their full presence in the fields of cities and villages, are at the forefront of practical explanation and resistance behind the front of the fierce war, to the extent that the tyrants of the time who always wish grief and oppression for this nation cannot bear confrontation with this great army.

Ayatollah Syed Mojtaba Khamenei, terming nurses as angels of mercy, said that attention to nurses, strengthening the nursing sector, and preserving the knowledge, skills, energy, morale, and dignity of nurses—especially those serving in non-private institutions—has a profound effect on the physical and spiritual health and well-being of society; therefore, those responsible in the health sector should give these matters top priority.

At the end, the Supreme Leader of the Revolution prayed for Divine mercy for the nurses martyred in the second and third imposed wars and the sedition of Dey 1404, and expressed hope that through the prayers of Imam Zaman (may Allah hasten his reappearance), Allah Almighty will grant the Iranian nation more honor and power.
