Holy shrine of Hazrat Sakina (AS) damaged in Syria

The holy shrine of Hazrat Sakina (AS) was partially destroyed by the takfiri nasbi terrorists in Darraya in Syria.

The notorious takfiri terrorists stormed into the holy shrine of Hazrat Sakina (AS) in a bid to hide them from the Syrian security forces. They installed bombs inside the holy shrine with a few to hit the shrine after fleeing from the spot.

However, Syrian security forces surrounded them and after a long shootout, they overpowered the terrorists. Latest reports said that all the terrorists were killed in the encounter.

It is relevant to add here that Hazrat Sakina whose shrine is situated in Darraya was daughter of Imam Ali (AS). In sub-continent Pakistan and India, Hazrat Ruqayya (AS) daughter of Imam Hussain (AS) is known as Hazrat Sakina (also Sukaina-AS) among Shia Muslims.
