Nine Shia Muslims taking part in a religious pilgrimage of Imam Moussa al-Kahim (AS) martyred and dozens were wounded in insurgent mortar attacks and roadside bomb explosions by the Nasabi’s terrorists of Al-Qaeeda across Baghdad on Tuesday.
The attacks took place in at least six locations around the capital as devout Shiites converged on a holy Shrine of Imam Moussa al-Kadhim (AS) in the Kazimiyah neighbourhood to commemorate the martyrdom anniversary of Seventh Shia Imam Moussa al-Kadhim (AS), son of holy Prophet Mohammad (PBUH) on July 7.
Hundreds of thousands of Shia pilgrims from around Iraq have turned out in Baghdad for ceremonies marking the eighth-century martyrdom  of Imam Moussa al-Kadhim (AS). Pilgrims traditionally walk to the twin-domed shrine of Imam Moussa al-Kadhim (AS) in Kazimiyah, where the revered apostle is buried.
