Million Muslims Toward Kadhimiyah to Commemorate Martyrdom Anniversary of Imam Kadhim (AS) + Photos

HOLY KADHIMIYAH, Iraq: Millions of mourners from across the World were marching towards Kadhimiyah (Kadhimain Sharifain), home to the holy shrine of Imam Al-Kadhim (AS), to commemorate the anniversary of martyrdom of the Imam.

Security has been tightened while forces were deployed throughout the routes leading to the city;

large tents have been erected to ease pilgrims and stalls of food and drinks were set up to facilitate the mourners of the imam (AS) who was poisoned in prison of Baghdad at the hands of the then ruler Haroun-ur Rasheed (Lanatullah Alayh).
