Heavy Fighting Reported Between Yemeni Forces and Saudi-Backed Forces on Yemen’s Western Fronts

Shiite News: Heavy clashes are reportedly continuing on Yemen’s western fronts between the Yemeni forces associated with Ansar Allah and forces backed by Saudi Arabia.

According to details cited in the report, forces affiliated with the Saudi-backed former government have claimed that their warplanes carried out 15 airstrikes against Ansar Allah positions in the coastal areas of Yemen’s western Taiz and Al Hudaydah governorates.

Media outlets affiliated with the Saudi-backed former government further claimed that their fighters had launched an assault against Ansar Allah positions in the Jabal Al-Watrah area, located between Taiz and Lahij governorates.

According to a media cell affiliated with the former government based in Aden, intense fighting is currently taking place between its forces and Ansar Allah on several fronts.

Meanwhile, the Yemeni Armed Forces have not yet issued an official statement providing details about the reported clashes and airstrikes.
