Ansar Allah Official Questions Pakistan Over Yemen Policy

Shiite News: Mohammed Al-Farah, identified as an official associated with Ansar Allah (the Houthis) in Sana’a, issued a message addressed to Pakistan while commenting on Saudi Arabia’s defense agreements and maritime security in the Red Sea.

According to the statement, Al-Farah asked whether Pakistan would accept another country exercising control over its airports in a way that prevented patients from seeking medical treatment abroad, students from pursuing education overseas, or traders from conducting international commerce without external approval.

He further questioned whether Pakistan would accept foreign oversight of its ports, with imports entering the country only after receiving outside authorization and under additional conditions and costs.

Al-Farah also asked whether Pakistan would tolerate another country interfering in the appointment of its officials, its internal affairs, or its sovereign decision-making.

He argued that what Pakistan would not accept for itself should likewise not be considered acceptable for the people of Yemen, nor should political support be given to policies that, in his view, continue those conditions.

The statement concluded by urging Pakistan, which it said had previously sought to mediate regional tensions, not to become part of actions that it described as harmful to the people of Yemen.
