Paris like attacks expected in Punjab

CTD Punjab has alerted that Paris like attacks are expected in entire Punjab, including Lahore.

CTD Officials while talking to media in Lahore regarding security measures during the second stage of LB Elections told that Daesh could carry out Paris like attacks in Punjab however, there is no such threat during the Local Bodies Elections.

It was also told that CTD officials were keeping an eye on sensitive locations and social media websites due to the threat of terrorism details of which would be told to media at an appropriate time.

CTD officials told that a religious institute (madarsa), related to Laal Masjid (red mosque) was also sealed in South Punjab due to the announcement of allegiance to Daesh by the speaker of the mosque.
