Pressure from Pakistani nation compels US embassy to apologize over a tweet that amounts to meddling into internal affairs of Pakistan.
The U.S. Embassy Islamabad on Wednesday apologized over its post on Twitter.

It said it did not endorse posting or retweeting of political messages.
According to its apology on twitter handle, the U.S. Embassy does not endorse the posting or retweeting of political messages.
Furthermore, the embassy of the U.S.A. said: We apologize for any confusion that may have resulted from the unauthorized post.
The U.S. embassy also mentioned about the unauthorized access of its twitter account.
“The U.S. Embassy Islamabad Twitter account was accessed last night without authorization,” it said.
Meanwhile, it seems Minister for Human Rights Shireen Mazari remains dissatisfied with the content of delayed apology.
In a tweet, she noted it not good enough especially after great delay!. She noted account was clearly not hacked so someone who had access to it used it “without authorisation”.
She said it unacceptable that someone working in US Embassy pushing a particular political party’s agenda – has serious consequences incl staff visas scrutiny.”
