Arbaeen Is a Journey of Spiritual Elevation and the Pinnacle of Shiism, Says Maulana Kalbe Rashid Rizvi

Shiite News: Prominent Indian religious and political leader Hujjat al-Islam wal-Muslimeen Maulana Dr. Syed Kalbe Rashid Rizvi said on the occasion of Arbaeen that Arbaeen is a great and unparalleled spiritual movement. The scene from Najaf to Karbala reflects the profound love for Imam Hussain (AS) and the universal appeal of his message. Millions of pilgrims continue their journey toward Karbala, and the scale of this remarkable gathering grows every year.

He said that pilgrims have been traveling toward Karbala for several days, yet the doors of Karbala remain open to everyone. This, he explained, demonstrates that Karbala is like a boundless ocean while all of us are merely drops. The true destination of every drop is to merge into the ocean so that it may benefit from its greatness, vastness, and blessings.

Maulana Kalbe Rashid Rizvi stated that, in his view, the journey is not merely from Najaf to Karbala; it is a journey of spiritual elevation, stronger determination, and the highest expression of devotion to Shiism. A person who undertakes this pilgrimage with true understanding does not return the same. Instead, the experience brings about a positive transformation that can influence future generations.

Addressing the pilgrims, he said that the objective of Arbaeen is not only to reach Karbala but also to revive the spirit of Karbala within one’s daily life. Believers should convey Imam Hussain’s message to society in such a way that wherever oppression or injustice exists, it becomes evident that the Hussaini spirit remains alive and never bows before tyranny.

In a special message to the people of India, he noted that the country’s Independence Day is approaching. He prayed at the shrine of Imam Hussain (AS) for love, brotherhood, and unity to prevail in India, for hatred and division to come to an end, and for all citizens to work together for the nation’s progress while also preserving Shiite values and universal human principles.
