Lebanese FM: US aggression against Iranian airliner unacceptable

Lebanese Foreign Minister has stressed that any aggression against civil airliners is unacceptable.

In an interview with Lebanese media on Saturday, Nassif Youssef Hitti referred to the recent incident that happened for the Iranian airliner in Syrian airspace, saying such a measure would endanger passengers’ lives.

Flight 1152 of Iran’s Mahan Air was en route to Beirut, Lebanon, on Thursday, when it was threatened by two US F-15 warplanes over Syria.

Iran lodged a protest with the International Civil Aviation Organization (ICAO) against the US aggression, calling for urgent action.
