Analysts: Saudi Arabia Implementing Western Plots in Region

Political analysts underlined that Saudi Arabia is engaged in a proxy war against the regional nations, specially Yemen, on behalf of the western countries and Israel, and said that a Takfiri-Salafist alliance has been formed against the Yemeni nation and Ansarullah movement.

“The Al Saud regime is executing the western plots in the Middle East, specially in Bahrain and Yemen,” Egyptian Politician Jamal Abu Aliyev told on Sunday.

He noted that the western and US mercenaries in the region are betraying the Arab states for the sake of Israel, and said, “Today we see that the global arrogance is supporting Saudi Arabia because the West’s ambition for oil to help its weapon-manufacturing factories to continue their operation has instigated Saudi Arabia to attack Yemen.”

Yemeni political activist Maboud Al-Bekri said that Saudi Arabia is planning to establish a Takfiri-Salafi alliance in Yemen against the nation’s revolution and Ansarullah movement.

Earlier today, sources disclosed that gaps are widening among the members of the Al Saud ruling family as a result of the war on Yemen.

“The differences have intensified in the Al Saud dynasty over the Saudi-led airstrikes on Yemen,” Senior member of Ansarullah movement Hossein al-Ezzi.

Al-Ezzi noted that several regions of Saudi Arabia have been the scene of insecurity and chaos since the start of the Saudi-led aggression against Yemen, and said, “These insecurities have been intensified” intimidating some Saudi rulers that the war on Yemen might lead to chaos at home.

He also pointed to the widening rift among the Saudi-led coalition members, and said, “The Pakistani parliament voted no to the military interference in Yemen and Turkey also refrained from joining the coalition while there are also strong opposition in Egypt against Egyptian president’s stance vis-à-vis Yemen.”

Also today, a senior member of the popular Ansarullah movement Youssef al-Fayshi underlined that the Saudi-led aggression against Yemen is aimed at saving the Al-Qaeda terrorists from annihilation.

“The Al Saud attack on Yemen is not meant to bring alleged legitimacy back to the Arab country, but it is aimed at saving the Al-Qaeda terrorists’ demise and destruction,” the Lebanese Al-Akhbar newspaper quoted al-Fayshi as saying.

He noted that Al-Qaeda and the ISIL are part of a scenario written by the US and Saudi Arabia for the region and the defeat of the same project has resulted in Saudi Arabia’s insane attack on Yemen.

Saudi Arabia has been striking Yemen for 18 days now to restore power to fugitive president Mansour Hadi, a close ally of Riyadh. The Saudi-led aggression has so far killed at least 1,030 Yemenis, including hundreds of women and children. The war has also wounded over 2,250 people.

Hadi stepped down in January and refused to reconsider the decision despite calls by Ansarullah revolutionaries of the Houthi movement.

Despite Riyadh’s claims that it is bombing the positions of the Ansarullah fighters, Saudi warplanes are flattening residential areas and civilian infrastructures.

Five Persian Gulf States — Saudi Arabia, the United Arab Emirates (UAE), Bahrain, Qatar and Kuwait — and Egypt that are also assisted by Israel and backed by the US declared war on Yemen in a joint statement issued on March 26.

US President Barack Obama authorized the provision of logistical and intelligence support to the military operations, National Security Council Spokesperson Bernadette Meehan said late on March 25.

She added that while US forces were not taking direct military action in Yemen, Washington was establishing a Joint Planning Cell with Saudi Arabia to coordinate US military and intelligence support.
