Pakistan government seems divided on anti-terrorists policy

Pakistan’s Information Minister Pervaiz Rasheed has said on Tuesday that terrorists are trying to impose their views on the masses and Media cannot perform freely if journalists who are creating awareness are not protected.

He made these remarks during an international conference on security of journalists held in Islamabad.

It is an interesting fact that Prime Minister Nawaz Sharif and some of his ministers are considered pro-Saudi elements within the ruling party and they tried to understate the threat of terrorism since their government was formed in 2013.

But, the minister such as Pervaiz Rasheed tried to satisfy the anti-terrorist people of Pakistan by strong statements against the Taliban and DAISH (ISIL) in which he vowed that the government would take action against them.

Pakistan experienced worst sort of terrorism and fanaticism due to Saudis-financed, CIA-trained and Wahhabis-allied Deobandi takfiri outfits such as Taliban, ASWJ (Sipah-e-Sahaba), Lashkar-e-Jhangvi, Jamaat ul Ahrar, etc.

Mr. Pervaiz Rasheed admitted that Wahhabis and Deobandi takfiris wanted to impose their illogical and un-Islamic intolerant views on the masses but federal interior minister denied ISIL’s presence and failed to furnish an authentic list of total outlawed/banned/proscribed terrorist outfits.

PMLN government’s another minister Riaz Hussain Pirzada on the record said that Saudi monarchy destabilized Pakistan by takfiris who are being used as proxy.
